In light of the current Covid-19 related lockdown, we would herewith like to provide you with important information related to Maintenance, Warranty and Service Package handling, which are applied exclusively during this period.
Overdue Periodical Maintenance
If a maintenance service becomes due during the lockdown (indicated by a warning message in the instrument cluster), you can still continue to drive your car, but we strongly advise not to exceed the service interval by more than 5000km or 6 months.
Kindly arrange an appointment with our service team to carry out the maintenance service, once our Porsche Centers reopen.
Should you encounter any technical issues with your car, please notify our service team immediately and before the warranty coverage expires. We will contact you and proceed with the repair once our Porsche Centers reopen. (Urgent issues may be repaired immediately, given that the lockdown restriction allows it).
Issues that were not reported to us during the warranty period, unfortunately cannot be rectified free of charge.
Service Package Coverage
We will extend the coverage period of your car’s Service Package in case it ended during the lockdown. Kindly contact us within one month after our Porsche Centers reopen to arrange a workshop visit at your convenient time. During this visit we will complete the outstanding services free of charge under the package scope. (The quantity of covered services and parts remains as stated on the Service Package Certificate and will not be affected by this extension.)
